I recently visited the Woodworking show at Alexandra Palace which was a little smaller than I was expecting. I was also surprised by the attendance, for a Saturday it was very comfortable for us, but I would think that the exhibitors were not impressed with the numbers.

I enjoyed the seeing the rustic furniture being made but I already have my hands full so I shall just leave it as something to try in the future. The only other thing that I noticed was an American router mill which I thought could be useful if you could find the work for it.
I am currently working on a Mahogany pedestal centre table. There are numerous issues with this piece. There was considerable staining to the top possible with something being stood on it. Also various deep scratches and other stains were numerous. The pedestal had worn a groove in the underside of the carrier making it lopsided and the veneer had been damaged. The feet had the veneer worn away and broken as well as worn and semi repaired castors. This will keep me out of trouble for a few days.
